Spots for every taste

More options, less than 30 minutes  from the villas, whatever the wind directions, we got you.

Our home spot, El Playon

Our home spot is a long 2 km beach, where we kite most of the time and run our lessons, offering plenty of space to ride away from the crowds. It's shallow in the first 500 meters and works with N, NW, and NE winds; it blows 18-25 Knots on average. The wind is stable and reliable from late morning to the evening, and the water is warm, so we get the most epic sunset sessions. Several schools are in its extension with bars and infrastructure and a welcoming beach kite vibe from a "bed to board "option while staying at our villas.

La Ria

On SE wind days, we head to La Ria, a lagoon with flat, waist-deep water between the mangroves. The wind blows onshore between 18 and 25 knots from early morning to early afternoon. La Ria is located just a 10-minute drive from our Kite Villas.

It can be quite hazardous and gusty on the launch area, we recommend not coming here alone.

For beginners and less experienced kiters, there is a boat service that drives you to the more upwind side of the lagoon, where conditions are more favorable, and launches you from there.

Chuburna

This is by far our favorite spot. Located 20 km from our home spot, it is usually uncrowded and boasts a butter-flat surface created by a wind shadow from a 2-meter-high pier—the locals' most well-kept secret. For the flat, it works with NE wind.

There is no infrastructure around, and the wind blows off-shore to a natural reserve that you can't access by car, so this spot is recommendable for experienced riders only.

You can also reach it by a 1 hour downwind from the kite villas.

San Bruno

San Bruno is the perfect getaway to experience a different spot on an pristine beacht beach, Located only 30 minutes drivefrom our villas .

Nested between palm trees, you will find a white sandy beach similar to the home spot, narrower and 100 meters shallow. There is a kite school that offers all the infrastructure and a welcoming, Friendy vibe. After your session, you can Enjoy a homemade wood oven pizza right on the spot.
