A Kitesurf paradise in Progreso, Mexico!

We found our paradise in Progreso, Mexico!  This town on the Yucatan Peninsula stole our hearts with its uncrowded beaches and laid-back vibe, offering the perfect escape from city life while immersed in the Mexican culture. As kitesurfing enthusiasts, we couldn't have asked for a better spot. With consistent winds blowing 300 days a year and shallow, warm waters, it's a dream for learning and progressing. The best part? Uncrowded spots with stable winds allow us to relish epic sunset sessions. Safety is paramount here, and being just 30 minutes from Merida's international airport and surrounded by infrastructure makes life convenient. The friendly kitesurfing community, incredible local food, and the chance to explore nearby cenotes and pyramids sealed the deal. Progreso feels like home, a place where we're not just visitors but cherished community members. Join us and experience the kitesurfing adventure of a lifetime!

Spots for every tastes

More options, less than 30 mn from the villas, whatever the wind directions, we got you.

Our home spot, El Playon

ocated,  is a long 2 km beach, offering plenty of space to ride away from the crowds. It's shallow in the first 500 meters and works with N, NW, and NE winds. Blows on average 18.25 Knots. The wind is stable and reliable from late morning to the evening, and the water is warm. Several schools in its extension have bars and a welcoming beach kite vibe.

South Wind Spot

On south wind days, we go to “La Ria, “ a lagoon with flat water between the mangroves. The wind blows between 18 to 25 knots from early morning to early afternoon. Located  10 minutes drive from our Kite Villas.

Our favorite Flat

This is by far our favorite spot. Located 20 km from our home spot, it is usually uncrowded and boosts a butter-flat surface created by a wind shadow from a 2-meter-high pier—the local's most well-kept secret. For the flat, we need NE wind.

San Bruno

San Bruno is the perfect getaway to experience a different spot on an almost desert beach.

Nested between palm trees, you will find a white sandy beach similar to the home spot, narrower and 100 meters shallow. There is a kite school that offers all the infrastructure and a welcoming, Friendy vibe. After your session, you can Enjoy a homemade wood oven pizza right on the spot.

Mangrove Downwinder

In a modd for an adventure? Embark on a downwinder that will take you to a virgin unexploityed beach surrounded by mangroves.

In between your session you can snack in local ceviche and pic nic
